Beach 2017

Where is your happy place? The place that allows your soul to breathe? The place where you go to recharge and reconnect?

For me, that special place is the beach!!!

We make a yearly trek to the beach. This year everyone went. Chris and I and the girls, Kacee and her crew, Jen and her crew, and my mom and dad.

We love the uninterrupted cousin time.

It is a week of walking and sitting.

There are times where I think I would love to live at the beach but then it wouldn't be as special right?!

Friday Favorites - Zoo

So I haven't written in so long, so why not start with an easy one! So I am joining up with some other bloggers to talk about my favorites.

Favorites are easy to talk about and luckily I had a favorite yesterday. I took the girls to the Indianapolis Zoo. We needed one last day away together before school starts and the crazy schedule starts.

I decided to ask the girls where they wanted to go and zoo was the overwhelming choice, even from my 14 year old. (When did that happen?!)

    


So off we went!!


We just went where they wanted to go and just enjoyed being together.

My favorite part was spending time with them and not yelling or having other things take my attention away!! It was a great day and I know that we will not have many left as they are all getting older. I cherish the time that they want to go to the zoo with me!!!
